Christmas Goodies

I have so many favorite Christmas goodies...I could never decide which I like best...I love them all! 

These peanut butter balls {above}are awesome!  They have oats, peanut butter, raisins, pecans, and coconut in them then dipped in chocolate.  When I was in elementary school, we use to have the most wonderful homemade desserts.  These were one of them!  I got the recipe from my MIL who use to make these every year.  After she passed, then I started making them each Christmas.  Yum!

My mom use to make potato candy.  My mom was an "old school" cook, so there are a lot of her dishes and desserts that were not written down...when I would call her for a recipe, she would say a "dab" of this and "pinch" of that.  I think I finally perfected the potato candy though.  This is my oldest son's favorite Christmas goodie!

You have to have fudge at Christmas!  This batch was from a kit I bought at Sam's Club one year.  It was the best fudge I have ever made!  I put nuts in some, and left some just plain.

Ok, so if I HAD to choose just one that I could have...I think I would choose these cherry date balls.  OMG they are YUMMY!!!  I know it's hard to tell from this pic, but I will try to take a better one this year.  Yup!  I think I'd have to say this is my all time favorite!!!
