Treat Her to a Tea Party

Tea Parties and Little Girl (and Big Girls) always go together!

Tea parties can range from as simple or as elaborate as you wish.  Either way, the little girl in your life will LOVE it!  You DON'T have to spend a lot to make a fun tea party!!!
I started having tea parties with my grangirl when she was two years old.  I raised boys, so this was new for me!  On my first try, I prepared simple sandwich squares, pop tart pieces, and drink.  LOL  She was 2...It was a hit!  She is six years old now, and looks forward to tea parties with her Gramma (ME)!

One of our next parties was a little more fancy.  We put on our favorite sundresses, and set a table on the screened in porch. Our treats included little sandwiches, REAL tea, and...
yummy Key Lime bites!

My grangirl lives three hours away, so I don't get to see her as much as I'd like, so sometimes we play via "FaceTime"...there is nothing wrong with a virtual pretend tea fact, they can be just as fun!  I have a set of her play dishes at my house, so she gets out the ones at her house, and I get out the ones at mine.  SWEET!

This tea party was a really fun one.  We didn't have tea for this one but we had some sweet and FUN treats with punch!  We BOTH really enjoyed this!

So even if it is as simple as brownies and tea, it is a wonderfully FUN tea party for a little girl....and even a big girl!
You know the Nike slogan, "Just Do It"!  Well, same here...
just treat her to a TEA PARTY of your choice!

Remember that simple cookie cutter sandwiches on  a pretty plate...
and tea in a sweet cup will make it very special!
She will LOVE it!

  1. I had a tea party with our little 6 year old granddaughter, Saydee one day when I was babysitting her and she can't stop talking about it. Little girls are born to attend tea parties. :) Love those sippy cups! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
