My Christmas Home Tour

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  Oh how I have waited and anticipated decorating my cottage for Christmas.  I can't even begin to put into words the feeling I have for the first Christmas in my cottage!  I am beyond giddy.  It's been a long two years after the divorce, but I am stronger and happier than I have ever been!  I've hung in there when times got tough, relied on God, and here I am...in my very own home that I got all by myself...with God's hand in it all the way.  Boy, it feels GOOD!
This was the first thing I put up this year....the vintage ornament wreath that I made a couple of years ago.  It makes me *HAPPY*
And I even have one on the inside of the same door.  :)
So without further delay, let's get to the tour of my cottage all decked out for Christmas!

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care...
I'm in love with my mantle!

Can you see the "pretty" hanging from the hook?  When my son, Brandon was itty bitty, my Mom had it hanging at her house during Christmas.  He would look up at it, point, and say, "Pwetty"!  We now call it "Pretty" and it hangs in my house at Christmas. :)

In my kitchen, I have vintage kitschy Christmas.  These make me smile every time I look at them!

The Santa's sleigh is one from my childhood.

These boots are too cute!

Santa and Mrs. Claus on skis is just too precious...as is Mr. and Mr. Frosty!

I found this sweet Santa at an antique mall when I visited my sister in Indiana.  Great price*Great find!

I'm a sucker for a caroler!  I just love their little faces and round "O" mouths!

I adore this little girl...she reminds me of my grangirl!

My family room is a little more shabby chic.  I just love all the creams, whites, and neutrals!

This board is ready for some Christmas cards!

When my grangirl was visiting in November, I let her go ahead and decorated her pink tree.  She did a good job spacing the ornaments!  It looks so cute in her room!
This is her vintage ornament wreath that I made for her.
I love this little school and two toned bottle brush trees!  I added these after she went back home, so she will see them when she comes for Christmas.

Well, that's it for now.  I actually have a little more to decorate so I'll share when that's complete.  Gotta get my icicle lights on my house today!

I'm linking up to Make It PrettyCreate, Bake, Grow, Home Sweet Home and Pink Saturday.

Christmas Cottage Blessings,
